TEAM GREAT BRITAIN
brand identity - sporting & events
Each year Team Great Britain host an Olympic Ball in honour of the up and coming games, to both promote the event and celebrate the successful Olympians who have qualified in their respective fields.
It gives both athletes and guests the opportunity to have an evening dedicated to the winter Olympic Games which this year was held in PyeongChang.
AN EVENT LIKE NO OTHER...
We were approached to design the brand identity and supporting collateral for the Team Great Britain ball held in November 2017 at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
The event was to celebrate the upcoming PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics where guests come together with Olympians past and present to enjoy a four-course meal, an exclusive and personal Q&A with athletes, and live performances.
Each table included two Olympians who brought to life previous Olympic Games and their preparations going into PeyongChang 2018.
BEHIND THE SCENES
The brief we received was to create a brand identity that depicts the rich and vibrant culture of South Korea. We incorporated the artistry that is synonymous with that part of the world.
We wanted to include the bronze, silver and gold colours that depict the Olympic Games, keeping the strong Team Great Britain brand and the Olympic Rings that complements the oriental artistry.
THE LATEST PROJECT...
After the success of the Team Great Britain ball, we worked on the celebratory ball that was put on to congratulate the Olympians and all supporting personnel that went into a record-breaking event.
The team worked on the brand identity and supporting collateral for the event that was held later that year.
